🧶KNIT FOR A CAUSE (1/11): Please discuss with parents/family about whether or not you are planning to attend for the pottery-themed knitting project on Sat. Feb. 19th from 9-11AM.  Mrs. Kinder and I will need to know by Jan. 24th if you are attending to ensure we prepare enough supplies.

If you knitted something over winter break, please bring it to the next practice or send me a photo and I’ll give you tickets for the raffle!

Next Practice: Monday, Jan. 24th from 3-4PM

Saturday, February 19th from 9-11AM: we will be collaborating with Mrs. Kinder for a pottery-themed knitting project.  Please make plans to attend, knitters!

 CENTRAL YEARBOOK: 7th and 8th graders: Our next yearbook meeting will be Tuesday January 18th from 3:00 to 4:00pm in Mrs. Lowry's room. Bring your Chromebooks. Please let Mrs. Lowry or Mrs. Kennedy know if you cannot attend or need to leave early! See you then!



6th grade boys basketball---today 4:30-6

SCHOLASTIC BOWL:  We will have practice on Tuesday Jan 18, 2022 at 3:00-4:00 in Mrs. Lowry’s room. If you are unable to attend please contact Mrs. Lowry or Mrs. Kennedy. Reminder: Order your polo shirt as soon as possible. 


DRAMA:  1/14 (Friday) Live From Gooseland Cast  Choir Room 3-5pm:)

Backstage Help - Mrs. Randolph will need the help from a few students this FRIDAY - January 14th from 3-4pm.  We will be posting locker tags. Come to the Choir after the 2nd dismissal bell.

♞CHESS CLUB♘: The St. Mary’s Winter Classic Tournament has been canceled. The pre-tournament extra practice for today after school is also canceled.  The next practice will be Tuesday after school in the library.





🏐VOLLEYBALL: 7th Graders:  The bus will transport you to St. Pat’s tonight.  Remember that your parents will need to pick you up from St. Pats.

8th Graders:  Please be at St. Pat’s at 8:15 on Saturday morning.


Practices are from 5:30 to 7 pm.  Anyone who wants to be on the team will need a sports physical on file with your school.

Student Council- 

Donut day is Wednesday the 2nd of February 

Our next StuCo meeting will be the 19th 

  • This year masks will be available for $5

  •  (see flyer)DONUT DAYS- Student council is bringing back donut days. The next one is  January 12th 

  • Students will be positioned in grade level collaborative spaces selling donuts before school. (different areas for each grade level) Donuts are $1 and we will be giving our next donation to the Salvation Army

11/29/21 UPDATE on Homeroom Dunkin’ Donuts Challenge: 

Winning homeroom class with a total of 222 items goes to Mrs. Hartzler’s Class!!!!!  Dunkin Donut donut holes will be delivered to them soon!

Central students make a difference!  

Thanks to the primary students for contributing….they went crazy and brought in 5621 items!!!!!  We are so proud of our young Trojans:)

In total our school donated 6776 items for the month of November.

December is the month of giving.  Please consider bringing in non-perishable items to help Washington families in need.
